WE, as in US, seem to discuss the idea of Black men wanting white women way too much. I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, if a Black man feels a white woman is best for him or even his ideal, then have at her. However, it never occured to me that those white women could really have a thing for Black men. Humh. Could be my egocentrism. Could be that no white woman I know has ever said she has a preference for Black men.
So, imagine my surprise when I read a blogger say just that. But she, Peach, went on to say that her ideal Black man wouldn’t want her. Here I was thinking that all white women, no matter their circumstance, thought all Black men wanted them. Humph. See what happens when you make assumptions. I guess this is why I tend to stick with dealing with men who are interested in me first. I don’t wanna be tryna win some guy over when he wasn’t even looking at me in THAT way to begin with. But for Peach, I can absolutely see why she’d be attracted to Black men. I mean they are fine. Um-humh. (more…)
