More Delightfully Bree

Former blogger NikiLovely, calls me ‘Delightfully Bree’. Maybe it’s because I’m crafty, or because I take care to try to say thr RIGHT thing. You know I try to be tactful. When I was visiting my mom, some of her friends remarked that I always say things just right. Funny because I guess since I was the only ‘in between’ age (between 30-35), I was able to relate to the older folks (50+) but then speak to the younger folks (27 and lower). I went to brunch on Saturday morning with one of the girls. I drove because her car is broken right now. We had to stop for gas near my house. The station we went to is in view of a family planning clinic. Translation: Abortion clinic. At the entrance, there were some folks milling around. I assumed they were the crazed anti-abortionist who usually gather there about six weeks after spring break. You do the math. While I pumped my gas, I noticed a couple dudes who were coming out, hanging near cars, etc. So y’all know I made up my own story. (more…)
